Lately I've been lackadaisical when it comes to my blog. I've had it now for 2 years and I feel like I have nothing to say on such a forum. Happily, my sisters have posted and reminded me of why I have a blog.
This is a poster that my BFF Ashley made over the summer. Apparently there is a program online that allows for making your friends into "South Park" characters, so Ashley made one for all the graduate students in our program. Guess which one is me?
We (Ashley, Megan, and I) went to Las Vegas the last weekend in September. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel, gave a significant boost to the economy when we went to Sephora, and ate at the Cheesecake Factory. Here are some photos of that much needed fun-filled break from our demanding life as graduate students.
This last photo is from a magazine of Modern Design. It is a 1960s cover photo with some of the top designers of the day. Charles Eames and Eero Seranin are my two favorites.

i love the pics!
Wait - 1961 "Playboy" photo? Are you hiding something? J/K!
By the way, I have been waiting and waiting for new info or new insights into life. Evan and I were reviewing your other blogs and I miss your unique point of view. Evan just missed you!
Thanks! I'm going to try to do better.
Yippie Horray Alli Bloged today!!! I agree that blogging lost its fun for a while, but now it is sort of fun again.
It is great to see your pictures...I am still not sure which South Park person you are. I have narrowed it down to two, the blonde on the back row left or the blonde second row fron left with a pony tail and her toung stickin out. Am I close? I really haven't ever watched that show.
Anyway, Vegas looked great. I love the pic w/ The Paris in the background, it reminds me of when we were there together this summer. That was fun. Most of my memories from that trip include public breastfeeding...
How is school? Good luck! We love ya!
Thanks for your comments! I am the dopey looking, ponytail sporting, blonde in the lower left corner. I guess I am an energetic loud-mouth, but in a good sort of way (I hope!).
