planning for the future is escapism, lack of charisma can be fatal, knowing yourself lets you understand others, ambivalence can ruin your life, symbols are more meaningful than things themselves, anger or hate can be a useful motivating force, a sincere effort is all you can ask, the cruelest disappointment is when you let yourself down, the mundane is to be cherished, expiring for love is beautiful but stupid, a positive attitude means all the difference in the world.
Quoting a pair of old bats:

That would be great- maybe at the cabin I could get it all together- woohoo! I am SO excited to get a break, but it really won't be a break b/c I have to have all my grading done by the 27th and then a chapter of my thesis done by the 24th (wait, invert those two!). Christmas break, Here I come!

Hey, I just had a brilliant Idea! You and lesley should come out to new york for a couple weeks this summer and stay with me! then we could take more pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
