planning for the future is escapism, lack of charisma can be fatal, knowing yourself lets you understand others, ambivalence can ruin your life, symbols are more meaningful than things themselves, anger or hate can be a useful motivating force, a sincere effort is all you can ask, the cruelest disappointment is when you let yourself down, the mundane is to be cherished, expiring for love is beautiful but stupid, a positive attitude means all the difference in the world.

Alice: You know that stuff they're selling now at the local shop?
Geraldine:Which stuff?
Alice: I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.
Geraldine:Oh yes
Alice: Well, I can't believe it's not butter.
Geraldine: Yeah, well I believe that is the idea, yeah.
Alice:Then yesterday, I went to Crookenden and I bought this other stuff, like a sort of home-brand, you know?
Geraldine: Yes...
Alice: And you know, I can't believe it's not I Can't Believe It's Not Butter
Geraldine: Mmm. I'm losing you now.
Alice: Well, you know I Can't Believe It's Not Butter?
Geraldine: Yeah, you think it is butter.
Alice: No no, I mean you know the stuff that I can't believe is not butter is called I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.
Geraldine: Probably, yeah, yeah<
Alice: Well I can't believe the stuff that is not I Can't Believe It's Not Butter is not I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and I can't believe that both I Can't Believe It's Not Butter and the stuff that I can't believe is not I Can't Believe It's Not Butter are both, in fact, not butter. And I believe they both might be butter, in a cunning disguise. And in fact there's a lot more butter around than we all thought there was.

it is my living nightmare- there are cockroaches everywhere and they are on my bag and sweater and even in my hair! Now we are in the shuttle which we waited for for an hour and in the darkness, I found one I'm my hair and freaked out- now we can't find where it went and I'm near hyperventilation!! I am an INDOOR girl and do not remember signing up for this!
I was going to text you and see how things are going....I hope they have improved. Did you sleep at the airport? I don't get the whole picture.
We arrived at 11:00 pm and then waited for a shuttle to take us to the Sleep Inn which arrived at midnight. The hotel was nice and I slept well.
We started the day by going to Independence, MO and took a tour of the LDS visitor center, then took a tour of the Community of Christ Temple, and the temple lot across the street. The temple was cool but sad to see how far their church as descented from the true gosple. They pray for peace everyday but then I asked what they do for peace and all the tour guide said was they pray (all talk, no action).
Then we went to Liberty Jail, so heartbreaking!
After that we ate lunch then drove to Adam-ondi-ahmam which was beautiful.
Oooh- I forgot to say that on our way to the place where Adam dwelt, we stopped in an Amish community but it was pouring down rain so we stayed on the bus- no Amish shopping for us :(
The rain cooled us down and made the field shine- it was so peaceful like a slice of heaven.
So, so far today has been busy but fun! Much better than last night :)

we are back at the airport, waiting to board our plane. I'm exhausted!!!!!!! I feel like I've been hit by a bus instead riding in it for the past 5 days.
